The project

Located on the top floor of the client’s Paris headquarters, the project was conceived as a tribute to the world of perfumery, drawing direct inspiration from the fragrance creation process.

Each space represents a different stage of olfactory creation, giving rise to a genuine architectural narrative. The carefully selected material palette—stainless steel, bronze, travertine, and wood—meets both aesthetic and functional requirements. Stainless steel was used throughout the custom-built fittings for its outstanding technical properties: it does not retain odors, resists staining, and ensures optimal hygiene and ease of maintenance. Every piece of furniture and every interior element was custom designed and fabricated to achieve complete design consistency and impeccable craftsmanship.

Stringent safety requirements also led to the integration of dedicated ATEX-rated zones for the extraction of volatile substances, minimizing any risk of explosion. These systems are connected to a ventilation network entirely independent from the building’s main HVAC system.

The iconic Haussmannian architecture of Paris has been reinterpreted with restraint and elegance. Bespoke skirting boards incorporate delicate moulding details, while the glazed partitions are enhanced with a premium bronze lacquer finish, adding a refined character throughout the space.

Lighting is one of the defining features of the project. Hand-blown amber glass pendant lights, imported from the United States, recall the timeless forms of early perfume bottles and reinforce the project’s distinctive sensory identity.

Conceived as a place for innovation and experimentation, the project brings together technical excellence, architectural identity, and an immersive sensory experience. Every detail has been carefully designed to address the site’s specific constraints while creating a sophisticated environment inspired by the art of fragrance creation.
