Intro

Henkel, a major consumer goods company, has moved into the renovated Atelier Renault building, known as Métal 57 to house their new headquarters. They turned to Sinfonic for a Design & build approach to propose modern work practices and a ‘Smart Work’ philosophy.

The project

Over three levels, along with a small area on the ground floor, the project encompassed a comprehensive design to create attractive and high-performance multiple flexible spaces designed for the various work styles outlined in the Henkel playbook. Our design team introduced the HENKEL FAMILY BASE as the central community hub where all staff could gather at the heart of the action. Specific materials were selected to ensure optimal acoustic performance, and bespoke joinery was key for areas such as the agora and enclosed meeting rooms. A very specific area was created to house the Technicum (a laboratory space) and a showroom showcasing industrial solutions for clients and employees.
